we have 2 sandboxes and I have created a field on a higher version of org and I have deployed it to another sandbox and then prod. the field is available on a report on a higher version of org but it's not showing on 2nd sandbox and prod which version is lower than the higher version.

Hi Aamir,
There are several possibilities. First, make sure that the field is deployed to the second sandbox and is accessible by your profile. By default, new fields added to change sets aren't visible to users.
It could also be that your report uses a custom report type. In that case, it's possible that the report type wasn't updated as part of the change set. Check if you can add the field there.
