Hello Lightning Product team!

My client would like to perform mass actions on Cases by selecting multiple records, but wants to open records individually before clicking on the action button (assign / accept or other button). The problem is that when he opens a record in console mode clicking on it from the list view, it opens a dedicated tab, but when he comes back to the Case list view, the selection is lost (all checkboxes become unchecked).

Reproduction steps:

1) In any list view within a Console app, select one or multiple records using checkboxes

2) open a record in a tab/subtab by clicking on one record

3) come back to the opened list view > The selection is lost!! (all checkboxes are unchecked)

I suggested those workarounds for the time being:

- use a non Console app or and to open browser tabs with Ctrl + click, but it's not the best experience since it requires to switch to another app (that sometimes does not exist...)

- if we use the console, use the split view in the list view: it's not the best experience either since lots of columns are missing  Could someone mention the person in charge of Lightning Console in the Product Management Team so that he has the info and maybe fix this? Thanks a lot!
