Hi Folks,

Hope I can count on you for some input.

We have a program in our org where clients can meet with a mentor to discuss problems. There are alot of nuances involved which are hard for me to wrap my head around:

1. Track meeting sessions along with info about their discussion

2. Track how many times they met (and how many sessions each mentor had)

3. Follow up - lots needed (after their session, 1 month later, 1 year later etc)

Each follow up has different questions and preferably should be automated (at least someone in the org should be notifed to follow up with them)

4. Sometimes the follow up can be something else (referred elsewhere etc.)

5. Each meeting falls in one of 3 categories of which different options are created.

6. Track their progression into different categories

7. Have several reports which show (all) the data

The hardest part is figuring out the objects and reports.

I though of these 2 ways to do it but because of reporting and logistics Im getting a little stuck

1. Create a junction object of 2 contacts with a child session record

2. Create a mentor object with mentor name with many sessions.

All ideas welcome!

Just make sure that the Contact Type picklist doesn't have competing values, so you could also designate Mentors and Mentees as checkboxes, if either could be an organizational volunteer, or other kind of involved person at your organization.
