Activities not showing on new lightning mobile app

I set up the new lightning mobile app however I just realized the Activity section is not visible on the Contact record on mobile. The prior app showed both Activity History and Open Activities. Any ideas why and how to make that reappear?

    I haven't tried this out myself yet but I think it's something you could see if it works for you. This Help and Training article says that, "The Salesforce mobile app doesn’t have an activity timeline. Use the Activity History related list instead." You can also review the rest of the "what's different in mobile" topics here. Let me know if this works!
