I see questions below on new Contacts being added to 'Anonymous Household' rather than auto-creating a household via naming conventions, but for me, my Contacts are appropriately being added to '[Last Name] Household'. The Account1 Name is appropriately bringing in the company name to the data import record, but when I process the record to import, the company name is no longer and Account1 Name is now 'Anonymous Household'. I can't figure out why this is happening.
@Judi Sohn Thank you so much! For some reason it seems like even the System Administrator profile had the Default Record type for Accounts set to "Household Account" after NPSP is installed.
It was also good to know that if a contact is added via NPSP Data Importer it will still create a Household Account for it, but Account1 maps to the default record type you set it to (in my case Organization).
