I created a custom report type to use the "Display As" field name function, and built a report from the custom report type. However 1 of the columns/fields that has a "Display As" name is showing a hyphen (-) where the data should be. I have checked the individual records - and the data is there (it is a picklist field). It just does not pull into the report. If I create a report based on that custom object the data pulls in fine. So there is no issue with field accessibility or security. It seems to stem from the custom report. Although that field is set up the same way as the other fields from the custom object that I have set up to display the name as something else. Stumped! Thank you for any suggestions or feedback.

    Hi,

I would say that either you're looking at the wrong fields or the wrong records. You could use Workbench or Salesforce Inspector to check all fields on a record. And cross reference it with the fields in the report type. See what's going on.

Another thing I can think of is that your report is based on ONE lookup field and displaying the values of ANOTHER lookup field on the same object.

Hope this helps. If not, maybe you can share some screenshots.
