We are wanting to use customizable campaign influence for our nonprofit. We frequently need donations split between multiple campaigns. In the past we have entered multiple donations so we could put the proper amount in each campaign, but that throws off 'number of donations' and 'average donation' rollups.

I have set up a custom model and am manually entering the influences, but we need the revenue amount to be a specific number, not calculated by a percent. I was calculating the percentage for the amount needed, but it is frequently off by a few cents. For example, there is a $580 donation and $500 needs to go to one campaign and $80 to go to another; the closest I can get is using 13.79% which gives $79.98 for the revenue share. I tried editing the % field to use more decimal points, so I could get a more exact amount, but I can't change it.

Is there a way to either be able to plug in an exact amount per campaign influence or edit the influence % field to use more decimal points?

    Hi Ladan,

If you got really tricky with a flow you could probably create one that rounds dollar amounts based off the number of campaigns each opportunity is influenced by.

But out of the box campaign influence is just not meant to be an accounting tool accurate to the penny.
