I feel like I'm going crazy, but is there a way to make the description of the field visible on the object? I want the field to have a full description of what it means right in the person's face (not help text).
Any suggestions? It seems like a simple straight forward feature, but I can't seem to make it work.

Hi Angela,
Although you can't make the field description visible, you can set a help text instead. Help text appears when you hover over the information icon next to the field name.
If you're on Lightning, you can also add text components in the lightning record page. You can't add it in-between the fields, but might help a little. Additionally, you can create formula fields with predefined text and add them to the page layout where needed.
