We're using SalesForce to manage tickets received from different parties.

I’d like to know if it is possible to customize system in a way that changes made by one user for example in a view of the case, addition of a field or whatever other change in interface do not influence the view of other user in another country. This of course is within one company.

Nowadays we’re told by our SalesForce admins that whatever change we propose to the interface (like new field, new email template, new column in case view screen etc.) need to be discussed globally as such change will have a global influence.

I was wondering if this could be limited to a local perspective so that we could adjust the system only for a team requirements without influencing it for the whole company. Some changes/adjustments do not require to be published globally.

I hope that some will understand what I mean :).

You will need to work with your Salesforce Administrators to implement this if it meets your business process rules, but Salesforce does have features that let different users see different "views" of the same record.
