From what I have read in the community the lead process is as follows:

  • Lead A comes in, if it is viable it is CONVERTED to an Account, Contact, and Opportunity for product A
  • Lead B comes in, if it is viable it si CONVERTED, then ATTACHED TO THE EXISTING account created above and if lead b involves a new contact it would create contact #2 and an opportunity for product BAt this point you have 1 Account for the company, 1 (or 2) contacts depending on if its the same contact, and 2 opportunities for the 2 products.  and so on..

 

This means that I will have several of the same lead for several products, which means that I have duplicate name, duplicate phone number and duplicate email addresses and all tasks and activities are spread across the leads. is this correct?

    Assuming there is no account and I have one person who is interested in 3 products. do i create 3 leads?
