custom field not showing up on the product or oppty product

Hi SF Community,

I am adding a custom data field & Formula field to all products within our org and for some reason it only pops up on the product screen but not when I create them from opportunities. The Field in this example is titled "Billing Effective Date"

Please let me know what I'm missing to add this to the layout?
