When no filter applied, contacts are shown.
When filter is applied "Contact: Account ID equals field Opportunity: Account ID" no contacts are shown, you have to type a contact name then its shown, so filter logic works, the list needs to show the available contacts.
How can i take care of this ?

You won't get a predefined list of Contacts. You may get some recently viewed Contacts, otherwise you will have to type and search still, the results will just be filtered to meet your criteria.
