We want to implement dashboards that are pretty complex and need to use Visualforce pages.
Hence we decided to use Home Page and App Pages for these, since dashboards in Lightning are quite limited.
However we still would like to drill down from a dashboard to a user and see what he sees on his dashboard which seems only possible with Dynamic dashboards. This should be possible for Sales Managers such that they can see the dashboard for any of their Salesperson.
We considered including VF elements on the record page for the users, but this is not a viable option. The business would like to be able to see the entire dashboard as seen by another user.
Is there any way we can achieve this?

I am afraid.You can't set running user view on a Home page. You can only use running user on Dashboard in lightning.
