Peter Hartwich (Vertiba LLC) ha fatto una domanda in #Security

Have a client who is trying to leverage Communities as a partner portal for their partner sales channels.  They have a unique situation where they can have multiple partner users bidding on the same opportunity and thus require access to it.

However, due to proprietary concerns the client does not want those partners to be able to see the details of the account and contacts under that account, just the opportunity specifics and the account name associated with the opp.

This seems challenging since Accounts are the parent object of opportunties and if you share the opportunity you often have to share the account information too, so is there any way to circumvent this please let me know.  Thanks!

Peter, there is no way around implicit sharing in SF. I assume they have to see the full account info after they win the bid?
