Salesforce Bot (Endeavor) ha fatto una domanda in #Security
I'd like access to Accounts to be public, but I need to hide data within some of the fields across offices. for Example:

If a User in our Mexico Office has an account named Apple. There are fields on the page that has Revenue data in them. So when a User from Brazil looks at the account they should be able to see everything except the Revenue numbers. These users all have the same Profile but Roles specific to their office.

Thoughts?

    Hi Cory,

What edition are you using? Remember field "visibility" is controled by Profile/Permission Set/Record Types/Page Layout.

Roles will control what records (data) will be accessible by the users.

You may want to clone your Profile and separate them by region. Then control the Field Level Security of these fields by the Profile.

Please take a look at the article below:

Also there is a series of videos (Who Sees What) that I recommend everybody to watch them. They are great!!!!!!
