    Hi Rakeshreddy,

     

    +1 for Geoffrey. Sharing 99% of the time only matters if you have a Private Organizational Wide Default on an object (ie User cans only see Leads that they own). Sharing rules allow you to open up access to records that they would not be able to see being that the OWD are Private to Roles, public groups, or Users (as one-offs). If the OWD are Read Only or open, sharing rules don't have much relevance (unless you want to give someone with read access read/write access). I hope that helps.
