How can I attache a file or a mail to an account or opportunity ?

    You can use the "Email to Salesforce" functionality. You can get to it by going to:

     

    [your name] > Setup > Personal Setup > Email > My Email to Salesforce

     

    Make sure you enter your email address and tick the opportunities section.

     

    Then when you email your client the email is attached to the lead/contact or opportunitiy.

     

    Or you can add a connector (you have for most main email provider), like this one:
