They are all on blue as in 'Busy'. Can I give them another colour or edit my calender just to see or my phone calls or my appoinments?

I've done some kind of differentiation using a workflow rule to set the title of the event with a prefix based on a field which shows the type. So you have it appearing as 'F2F: Meeting with Steven' or 'Ph: Meeting with Dave"
That's not color coding, but is that the kind of thing that could help?
