Workaround on character limit on Comments field on workflow task?

I'm trying to create a workflow rule whre a task is created and sent at the Opportunity level.  I'm trying to include a standard language in the Comments field, but I'm running into the 255 character limit and have a lot more text to add.  Does anyone have a good workaround without having to use Apex Trigger?

    Hi Minky,

     

    Task comment field has 3200 characters limit...are you referring to some other field?

     

    You can always create another custom field (Long text/rich text area) to accommodate more numbers of characters.
