How do I find API for custom objects?

Question

I'm working with our group to find the API of a custom object. We have put Revenue Projections into our Products, however I am trying to multiply a schedule amount x EBIT to get a breakdown. Any thoughts?

Custom objects are exposed via the API in the same way that all data is in  Salesforce.com , which makes things very clean.  A good way to start would be to explore your data model with the  Force.com Explorer .  The  Excel Connector  can be a good tool to grab data from  Salesforce.com  via the API and do math or pivottables on also.
