If a Sales Rep receives an existing Account with multiple contacts and you have Salesforce for Outlook set up to Sync both Ways and Outlook always wins.  I'm assuming all of the new contacts will be added to the reps Outlook.  What happens when they are older contacts and they are just taking up space in the Sales Reps Outlook.  They are no longer relevant but you want to keep them in Salesforce for history activity. 

 

Is there a way to flag a contact in Salesforce to not sync with Outlook?

    This can be accomplised by changeing the Outlook configuration's Data Set.  The following articles best describe the process:
