Reports

I am creating a report that stems from data on the Opportunity object and a "Customer" related list on the Opportunity. The question is stemming from the fact that the related list contains 3 types of Customer types.

 

Example:

 

Opportunity "A" has customers:

  • Type 1 

  • Type 2 

  • Type 3

 

I only want to see Opportunity A with customer Type 3 in the report. I am getting Opportunity A with all three types, and I can't weed out via filter to only show ones with Type 3 present, because not all Opportunities have a Type 3 associated with it, but i want to see the record even without thaqt information.

    So you want to see all Opportunities and if they have a Customer Type of 3 you want to see that too otherwise you want to see no Customer Data? Is that correct? Assuming so you will need to set up a custom report type for that,
