capture lead activity across open and converted leads?

Our sales reps are required to have a certain number of cold calls a month based on regions, we currently  track this in a lead with activities report - only problem is once the lead converts to an opportunity the activity falls off the report because its no longer on the lead -it transfers to the opportunity.

 

We need to capture the activities  in one report so we can calculate percent to goal and display on a dashboard, is it possible?

    I tried this but that report type cannot pull in the regional goal field which is on the lead and opportunity.
