I've really hit the wall here.
I'm trying to create a report to use in a dash board. I want to show how many assets have had a certain number of service visit in the last 90 days - so it will show how many had had 1 or 2, 3-5 or 6+. We register them as something called case assignments (a custom object) but don't think too much about that part.
I've added a formula field with the value of 1 "Count of case assignments" and done a sumary on that field so that my report shows a list of assets and how many assigment records they have for the set period. Added that field to my report type.
But I can not bucket that field - is there a better way to solve my problem of counting how many assets there is in each group of count of case assignments?
Hope i've explained it good enough, if not please ask me :)
Thank's in advance.
Best regards
Nicolai

I've had SFDC Support work on this and their reply after working on it was: "I tried to research regarding your concern that counting all the asset have X case assignment, and I regret to tell you that it is not possible to pull up this report. I also asked my senior regarding this report and they said it is not possible. I think the best thing that we could do is promote this Idea on the Ideas Exchange site so that on the next release of Salesforce it might available."
So I've posted an idea - please refer to that for discussion and suggestions on how to enhance the reporting interface in Salesforce. Thank you. https://sites.secure.force.com/success/ideaView?id=08730000000hJfgAAE
