If I mass delete leads, will the lead's activities be deleted as well?

I am going to be deleting a large number of leads and I want to know if the activities associated with those leads will be deleted as well. I am trying to free up storage space!

 

also, does anyone know of a way to delete more than 250 records at one time?

    you can use dataloader for mass delete if you are using Enterprise or Unlimited Editions.
