Approval comments from the child approval record in email template

Question

We currently have a multui level approval process.  The parent level is called "contract Review" then under that we have functional reviews (engineering, finance, operations....).  Each of the functional areas is able to make a comment when they approve and once all the functional approvals are obtained an email alert is sent to the parent "Contract Review" owner.  I would like to capture the comments made by each of the child approvers in the email to the parent approval owner.  Is there a way to pull that data up and into the email alert?
