is there a way to upload monthly billing by account into Salesforce ?

I would like to upload and track actual  monthly billings by account.  The information is different from the opportunity information our sales team enters.  I would like to track monthly billings and be able to report that information using the saleforce tools if possible.

    Where does the monthly billing information come from?  If it's another system, then you can do automated feeds (search the AppExchange to see if there's one that's compatible with your billing system)

     

    What you want to do is no small undertaking.  You'll be creating new Account objects, or maybe even new area within SFDC.  Hope you know Apex!

     

    Would you be adding monthly billing info line by line, or are you talking about one specific number in a field on the Account Page, under a Billing heading?

     

    Have you discussed this with developers or consultants?  It's kind of massive.
