Change of a field (multiple contacts)

Question

Is there a possible easy way to change a certain field on multiple contacts (e.g. have made a mailmerge for 200 contacts and wants to make a history/note in a specific field). So far it could only be done by exporting into excel and importing it again with a certain note...which is not really a handy way. Thanks for comments. Peter

There are some great apps that can help you Mass Update or Mass Edit ( in a list view)

You could also use the Dataloader to Export whatever data you were using and do a mass update that way.
