Hi all,
I need to Notify (with mail or notifications) the new owner of an opportunity.
I know there is a checkbox that asks me if I want to notify the new owner when I chan ownership of an opportunity, but I have also automated process that change ownership.
I tried to do that whit a WorkFlowRules but seems that is not possible to use OwnerID in function like IS CHANGED or PRIORVALUE.
Can anyone help me?

Please use process builder , you would get Ischange option for the owner id field.I have done similar in my current project though I have a better solution here.
Rather than sending an email, You can create a chatter
post.It has two benefits 1. It sends automatically notification.You don't need to write code for that 2. A chatter post gets created which is very helpful in many ways for example history tracking , you can add more people there.
