Hi everyone:

My users are no longer able to use the Email Quick Action in their Salesforce apps, Classic or Lightning. I have somehow been able to give this access to myself some time ago, but do not remember how.

For example:

1.) One user was able to e-mail a Quote PDF from Salesforce Classic a few weeks ago, but started receiving the "Insufficient Privileges" error as of last Friday.

2.) In my own Salesforce Lightning account, in the "Assistant" box on the Home page, I can see an e-mail icon to e-mail a Lead directly from Salesforce, but my other Lightning users are not able to see the same icon.

Has anyone experienced this as well?

Thanks in advance -- your help is much appreciated!

Hi @Jennifer Jaw Actions can be a bit tricky since they can appear in a few different places. Try following the instructions in this unit on Trailhead: https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/content/learn/modules/lex_customization/lex_customization_actions

If you are running into a tricky permissions issue that you can't sort out, you might log a case with support to see if they can look at your configuration and help you hunt down the problem. Let us know how it goes!
