Hi, is it true that SF2SF isn´t in lightning , it has to be used lightning connect? So, it has to be used external objects, what is the persistency with the provider org?

Other options are available to make data available to two (or more) Salesforce orgs, such as middleware like Mulesoft. The final solution of what technology should be used should be determined by your solution architect
