I've set up Matching and Duplicate Rules for our Salesforce.
On the page layout of Lead and Contacts, the duplicates aren't shown (see attached).
Is there a resolve for this and also is there a way to Compare and Merge within the Contact or Lead record instead of going back to the Duplicate Record Set object?

Hard to say what might be causing this, without actually seeing setup and data. Have you logged a support case yet so that an agent can look at it with you in our org? Also looping in @* Sales Cloud - Best Practices *@* Sales Cloud - Getting Started * for the other question. They may be able to provide you with some more advice and resources.
