For those that are not aware, you have the power to create different templates for your Record, App, and Home pages to provide you with multiple columns, collapsable regions, headers, footers, etc . I did some preliminary testing on the templates when they were first released in March. I did not have any heavy customizations as components added to the pages. Or long running data sets in my test environment like some larger customers may have. I have also developed templates for clients directly and deployed them, in the Fortune 500 space. From my testing prior to release, and from ones I have developed for my clients. No one has reported slow page loading or other issues. Would be happy to help diagnose the problem on a custom template you may have. And if you went down the App route, refunds are not a problem if there is doubt. As always, using in a sandbox is completely free :)
