@Tony DeGregorio A majority of the pilots require either your Account Executive or Success Manager to nominate you into the pilot program. The one exception I've seen is the Lightning Mobile pilot (https://sfdc.co/PilotNewSalesforceMobile) where Customers/Partners can sign up for it themselves. Hope this helps!
