Hello all,
I know there is a way to enable lightning so users can toggle it on and off between classic and lightning mode as I did this at a previous company. How do I do this so I don't completely throw the other employees into Lightning without access to classic view?

Hi @Brian Girouard as @Madhukar Mandadi mentioned you could change those system permissions. On the other hand, if you need to grant access to some specific users you should create a permission set and add those system permissions, and after that assign the users to the new permission set.
