Does anyone know if there is a way to increase the size of the Case Edit window in Lightning?

I am in the preliminary stages of migrating our org to Lightning Experience. It looks like the Case Edit screen in Lightning is a pop out window that provides a much smaller work area than in the Classic interface. This presents a big problem for our org and user adoption. We rely heavily on Case forms that we've customized by adding multiple sections with custom fields. This means that the Case forms (we have several record types) can be quite long, and depending on how the conversation goes during the call, the internal user may need to jump around between various sections on the page. The smaller window in lightning makes this navigation much more difficult. Is there some way to increase the size on the Case Edit window so that it takes up a larger portion of the browser window?

Cross posting this in a few places because it's so important to us. Apologies if you see it more than once!

@Elna Miller, Thanks for the suggestions! I'll work your ideas into my testing and will look more closely at how we can use Flow to our advantage.
