Loving the #LightningStrikes tips. Here are a few of my favorites:
- Create Lightning specific Apps using the Lighting App Builder that only feature the Navigation Objects that your user needs. You can customize Apps for different parts of your organization, e.g. Sales, Service, etc. (https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/content/learn/modules/lightning_app_builder)
- Understand the difference between Page Layouts and Lighting Record Pages: Page Layouts determine which fields are visible in the "Record Details" Lightning Component. Lightning Record Pages determine which "pieces" (i.e. Components) are visible, such as Details, Activities, Chatter, etc. The combination of Page Layouts and Lightning Record pages give Admins incredible power for customizing the look and feel of Salesforce for our users!(https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=layouts_in_lex.htm&type=0) (https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=lightning_app_builder_customize_lex_pages.htm&type=5)
- Use custom Quick Actions to streamline data entry for new records. When you create a new Quick Action do it on the Object that you would like to relate to your new record. For example make a Quick Action on a Contact that will create a new Opportunity. Then use the Quick Action layout to limit which fields are visible and also to set pre-determined values as desired. - Find cool new Lightning Components for your Lightning Pages on AppExchange! I especially love everything built by Salesforce Labs. (https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxStore?type=Component)

Gotcha, @Michael Moeller, I guess you can see it by Record Page so like you can see Contact Lighting Page A is assigned to Profiles 1, 2, and 5 but it doesn't also show which Page is assigned to Profiles 3 and 4 in the same place. That would be a super helpful feature!
