Hello everyone,

My job currently host training classes for our customers where we teach them about various subjects. The customers sign up for these classes through our website, which then get pushed over to Salesforce as a Lead. From there once the class is completed, invoiced, we convert those Leads, and send the attendees a survey. The issue we are encountering is that some of the students are being signed up by their managers, and the email address that has been entered is not the student that will be attending. So I’m trying to see if there is a way to create an app within Salesforce where students can enter first/Last name, which will pull their registration information, and prompts them to confirm email address. If email address is correct, they will click confirm, if not, they will have the ability to update it.

Any thoughts on best approach would be appreciate it.

Hmmm..that's a tricky one. You might be able to use an email template with a link that auto-fills a lead record ID on an email confirmation form that then updates that field on the lead record rather than creating a new lead - but I don't know any way of doing that out of the box without some code on both the email template side and on the lead form. If you have a web developer they could probably do it?
