The Rich Text Editor in Classic provides the ability to link to an image using a Web Address rather than uploading an image. We often use this to get around the 1MB upload size limitation. Is this feature on the roadmap for Lightning? Dealbreaker for us.....

Following up on this (and giving it a little bump). The Summer 18 update seems to refer only to the Rich Text lightning component. I'm referring to the rich text editor displayed whenever I'm editing a rich text custom field within the Record Details lightning component.
