Is it possible to control what fields show up when you merge contacts or accounts? We are piloting Lightning at my organization, and some fields which aren't even displayed on our layouts are showing up when merging contacts. They don't show up in classic when we merge.

Thanks @Victor Weilin Liu ! I see now that revoking field level accessibility to the field removes it as a merge option.
The fields we don't want to be merge options are pretty deprecated, so we'll make it part of our Lightning transition plan to determine whether or not to simply remove them entirely.
