Hi Guys,
I have a quick question on what things do you check for a lightning assessment apart from running the standard salesforce lightning readiness check. Here are things I do with my clients when I do a lightning impact assessment.
1. Check picklist values on opportunity stages, lead sources as an example to see if I can reduce them which helps in setting up path or kanban views.
2. Do a business process review on lead, account and opportunity process and do a future state assessment.
I do have a list of items like above which i can share in a blog which would benefit the group. Can you add your own checklist of items you guys check when you do a lightning impact assessment apart from the standard salesforce readiness check?

I think you are right on. An evaluation of some processes/VF pages can be done. As you know lightning offers a prime opportunity to simplify items that were complex in classic, simply because the platform didn't allow for a straight forward option.
