Working on my 1st setup of LEX for our Org.
Trying to find a method where a user can view all their Open Tasks on home page using standard LEX components. Some Tips suggest creating a list view on Tasks and then add that List view to the home page but the Task/Activity object is not available to choose on the Filter List component...
The only component seems to be Today's tasks which is not what users expect - they are used to having options (classic UI) to see future tasks as well.

Ability to toggle pre-defined views (even view overdue tasks) on Lightning Home will be available as part of the Winter '18 release after the patch on Tuesday 10/17.
