'Salesforce Lightning for Gmail' should preserve gmail footers.

I love the new Lightning email templates both inside Salesforce and in my inbox using the Chrome plugin, but in both cases it doesn't allow you to use your Gmail email footer - in my case, this is something mandated by marketing that we should have the logo, social media links etc. at the bottom of our outgoing emails.

So I've started an idea:

(I know you can approximate a footer in the template but AFAIK you can't include richer elements like logos)
