Hi - was hoping to get a PM to weigh in...I've been working with support for weeks to try to get some of my gaps with the collaborative forecasting product to an acceptable point - executive management is excited at the prospect of implementing forecasting but I still have some challenges.  On my previous question posted June 30, I was trying to report all 3 of my custom forecast types in 1 report, against the management adjusted amounts.  Support has advised me that I need 3 separate reports (1 for each forecast type) and a filter by forecast type API name.  Then I can compare sum of forecast amount to sum of owner only amount. Can someone confirm this is the best/ most valid solution? Also, I am told I can only use custom report type Forecasting Items with no join to Opportunities . This is not optimal because management can't tie the forecast back to opportunities in the report - they would have to rely solely on the forecast tab screen.  Thank you! Anne

@Mike Wey aha - that makes sense. I guess there are definite drawbacks to the cumulative forecast categories. Another one is the Grand Total in my matrix report is adding up the cumulative categories overstating the total (counting the sums multiple times as you explained above). Is there any way to hide the Grand Total as it is completely inaccurate?
