They show service reps and supervisors only the essential information, so they spend less time interpreting data.

Imagine you’re a service rep logging in to the service console on a Monday morning. You open an escalated case that’s been bouncing between three different departments for a week. The case feed is a massive wall of text: dozens of email messages, internal comments, and field updates.

Instead of spending a lot of time reading the entire history just to understand what’s going on, you can let AI do the heavy lifting.

With Enhanced Summaries for cases, generative AI instantly reads the case data and provides a clear, actionable breakdown. It automatically pulls information from case fields, comments, email messages, and the case feed. In just one click, you get the information you actually need: the summary, the issue, and the resolution. It cuts down on manual note-taking, reduces after-call work, and gets you up to speed in seconds.

That’s why Enhanced Summaries are role-based. Admins can create distinct case summary configurations for specific roles, like service rep or supervisor. Each configuration uses specific prompts to tell the AI model exactly what format, tone, and information to extract for that specific viewer.

Behind the scenes, Enhanced Summaries create comprehensive overviews by using data from case fields, comments, email messages, and the case feed. By giving your team the exact details they need, it drastically reduces manual note-taking, handling time, and after-call work. Plus, users can generate a summary directly from the case page with a single click, and they retain full control to review, edit, and save these summaries. Each summary is saved as a record in the CaseGeneratedSummary object.

Empower Global Teams with Localization

Global teams need global tools. The AI automatically detects the language from the case subject and description to draft the summary. If the detected language isn’t supported, it defaults to English. Your users can also generate summaries in their preferred language, if your admin has turned on Summary in User Language in Setup.

Enhanced Summaries support a wide array of languages, including English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese (Brazilian), Portuguese (European), Russian, Spanish (Mexico), Spanish (Spain), Swedish, and Thai.
