The features you get with Salesforce Foundations open doors to all sorts of new ways your teams can work more efficiently and engage with your customers on a more personal level. The benefits listed below are only a few of the ways Salesforce Foundations can help your business grow and thrive. Check out Discover Salesforce Foundations to see the full list of capabilities included with Salesforce Foundations.

Salesforce Foundations capabilities listed by feature.

With Salesforce Foundations, your organization benefits from:

Sales features that help you take care of your entire sales pipeline, from prospecting to closing. You can manage your leads, opportunities, accounts, and contacts in the preconfigured Sales Console.

Service features that make it easy to provide proactive, personalized support to your customers through the preconfigured Service Console. Omni-channel case routing makes sure the most qualified agents work each case, Knowledge Management helps agents provide accurate and relevant help articles to customers, and macros help agents complete repetitive tasks with a single click.

Agentforce brings the power of conversational AI to your business. Try out an intelligent, trusted, and customizable AI agent and help your users get more done with Salesforce. Agentforce’s autonomous apps use LLMs and context to assist customers and human agents.

Marketing features that allow you to join data from disparate sources, better understand and analyze your customers, and choose how to connect with your audiences. You can create customized marketing campaigns powered by Salesforce Flows to send at the right time.

Commerce features that help boost sales with a Direct to Customer (D2C) online storefront. You can define customer experiences like search, carts, and checkout. Pay Now lets you generate secure payment links for customers when opportunities close, so you get paid faster.

Note

Commerce for Salesforce Foundations availability varies by location. Contact your Account Executive for more information. Pay Now is not available to customers in India, Brazil, and Japan.

Data Cloud functionality that creates unified profiles by aggregating data from all of your data sources into a single view so you can better understand your customers. Create customer segments to more accurately target campaigns, analyze your customers, and manage consent data. Data Cloud also powers features so you can send online store order confirmation emails and marketing messages.

A New User Experience

Salesforce Foundations comes with a preview of the new, friendly Salesforce user experience (UX) that you can turn on or off based on how your organization works. This new UX boosts productivity by putting all of your apps in an easy-to-access vertical sidebar so you just click an icon to switch to a different app.

Trust

Trust is the #1 Salesforce value, so you can be certain that Salesforce Foundations is built using the same secure methods that apply to every other Salesforce solution. To learn more about trust at Salesforce visit trust.salesforce.com.

How Do I Access Salesforce Foundations?

Salesforce Foundations is available now to customers with Enterprise, Unlimited, or Einstein 1 editions. Eligible customers should contact their Account Executive for access. Once your organization has access, your Salesforce Administrator controls when to turn on each Salesforce Foundations feature for your business. This gives you time to prepare your Salesforce org and train your teams to use these new capabilities.

The combination of the Salesforce product or products you already use, the edition, and your org status helps you determine which features you should turn on to round out your Salesforce experience. For example, if you’re already a Sales Cloud customer, you might choose to use the features in Data Cloud first to connect and unify data from internal and external sources. Then, roll out your new marketing and commerce capabilities and build compelling, customer-centric email campaigns using targeted audience segments, set up digital storefronts, and get paid faster.

And while you’re at it, you can roll out service capabilities and share knowledge articles to make sure your customers receive timely answers to their cases, all while giving your service teams a 360-degree view of the customer and their needs in the Service Console. Check out the Knowing Which Salesforce Foundations Features You Can Turn On documentation to identify your unique needs.
