Lead the Way as an Official Agentblazer

Congratulations! Now that you’ve completed the Agentblazer Champion, Innovator, and Legend trails, you’re well on your way to working with agents to tackle your everyday business challenges. But before you bring your new skills to your next work project, take some time to recap and reflect on how much you’ve grown along the journey. Whether you started your first Agentblazer badge as an AI enthusiast or a complete beginner, you’ve come a long way.

Agentblazer Champion: Build Your AI Foundation

You have successfully built a strong foundation in AI concepts and their application within the Salesforce ecosystem. You can now confidently explain Agentforce concepts and connect them to business impacts like increased productivity, better customer experiences, and less stress for the humans that agents support. During this learning path, you:

  • Explored artificial intelligence basics: You can now explain foundational AI concepts, including generative AI, natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), and the Salesforce ethical AI standards.
  • Got specific about Salesforce AI: You know how data, AI, and CRM work together. And you recognize the advantages of prompt fundamentals, the Einstein Trust Layer, autonomous agents, and more.
  • Familiarized yourself with Agentforce: You know about Salesforce AI capabilities—including how Agentforce can be used for service, sales, and on the Salesforce mobile app.
  • Learned through hands-on agent experience: You joined the Agentblazer Community, built your first agent, and connected Data Cloud to Agentforce and Prompt Builder.

As a Champion, you understand the “what” and “why” of AI agents. You’re the go-to person on your team to explain the fundamentals and identify initial opportunities for agents to help.

Now, you can:

  • Conduct an AI opportunity workshop: Lead a brainstorming session with your department to identify three to five repetitive, time-consuming tasks that are prime candidates for automation with an AI agent.
  • Create a day-in-the-life AI storyboard: Map out a current workflow for a specific role and illustrate exactly where prebuilt AI agents can intervene to save time and improve efficiency.
  • Serve as an AI translator: In project meetings, you can confidently explain concepts from the Einstein Trust Layer to stakeholders, reassuring your team about data privacy and the responsible use of AI in a proposed solution.
  • Demo a service agent: Using an agent you built step-by-step, you can showcase to your team the core functionality of an agent, answering simple questions about its capabilities and demonstrating the immediate potential of the technology.

Agentblazer Innovator: Drive AI Forward

In the Innovator path, you equipped yourself with the ability to define AI business goals, customize agents, and deploy trusted AI solutions within your organization. You perfected the art of building prompt templates, integrating flows, and bringing automation into conversational AI, ultimately becoming a driver of AI adoption. This path helped you grow from a learner into an active innovator, ready to strategize and implement effective AI initiatives. Here’s what you learned to do.

  • Drive AI within your organization: You can define your organization’s AI vision, use cases, roadmap, and governance for trustworthy AI. You also understand the importance of strategy creation, data preparation for AI projects, and how to responsibly build and use AI agents with Agentforce.
  • Get hands on with Prompt Builder. You have practical experience creating and testing prompt templates. And, thanks to the Prompt Builder Templates Superbadge Unit, you can supercharge AI-powered insights and engagement by using the best possible prompts..
  • Customize Agentforce and deploy your agents: You can share the ways Agentforce Builder simplifies the design of custom AI agents. Plus, you now know the key considerations for designing custom Agentforce actions and how to enhance your agent with flows, topics, actions, and a custom prompt model.
  • Sell smarter with Agentforce: You gained insight into how Salesforce uses Agentforce Sales Coach and SDR to scale real-time coaching and support sellers. You can set up and customize agents with insight into your business. And you know how to build your first sales agent to give reps a dedicated coach for perfecting their pitch.

As an Innovator, you moved from theory to practice. You can take a business problem and build a customized, effective agent to solve it using declarative tools like Prompt Builder and Flow Builder.

Now, you can:

  • Automate case triage for service: Create a Service Cloud agent that intelligently interacts with a customer to gather preliminary information about their issue. The agent can then use a flow to create a Case record, automatically setting the priority, record type, and routing it to the correct queue without human intervention.
  • Deploy a sales coaching agent for onboarding: Configure Agentforce Sales Coach to guide sellers and provide customized and actionable feedback. The agent can provide real-time suggestions on handling objections or perfecting a product pitch, dramatically shortening the onboarding cycle.
  • Get feedback from an agent: Using your own pitching experience, you can iterate and improve with personalized feedback now that you’ve set up a coach that can use AI insights and data to deliver tailored advice.

Agentblazer Legend: Apply Advanced AI Skills

As an Agentblazer Legend, you proved the depth of your Agentforce expertise. You developed advanced agent customizations and gained the ability to manage end-to-end agent activities—from testing to deployment. You’re now equipped to lead the way with AI, using your comprehensive understanding of Agentforce tools and development practices. Here’s what you learned to do.

  • Become a Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist: You learned the foundations to become an Agentforce Specialist—a professional achievement that validates your expertise. Now that you've successfully tackled the test, you're ready to show off your skills.
  • Create advanced agent customizations: You honed advanced customization techniques for your agents—learning when and how to use prompts, flows, and Apex code to tailor their behavior. And you gained hands-on experience with superbadges for Flow Builder and Apex for Agentforce.
  • Manage your agent’s data: You developed skills to effectively manage your agent's data, understanding how to use Data Cloud for personalized experiences, ground agents in relevant data, and use unstructured data to enhance accuracy and trust.
  • Test and monitor your agent: You learned how to develop a robust testing strategy for Agentforce, use the Agentforce Testing Center to ensure trustworthiness, and use analytics and monitoring tools to continuously improve agent performance.
  • Deploy your agent to Slack: You became proficient in deploying your agents to Slack, enabling employees to access them for everyday tasks, and even triggering Slack workflows directly from Agentforce.
  • Develop with Agentforce tools: You explored advanced development with Agentforce, including creating agents using Agentforce DX, interacting with agents via the Agent API and connecting to AI models using the Models API. You also checked out the Agentforce for Developers Trailblazer Community.

As a Legend, you can build, manage, and scale complex, enterprise-grade agent solutions, integrating them seamlessly across the organization and handling advanced customization and governance.

Now, you can:

  • Integrate agents with external systems via Apex: Develop an agent that uses an Apex Action to connect to an external API. For example, a Shipment Status agent that allows a service rep to get real-time tracking information from a third-party logistics provider directly within Salesforce.
  • Deploy an HR Helpdesk agent to Slack: Build and deploy an agent to the company’s primary Slack workspace. Employees can ask about PTO balances, benefits enrollment, or expense policies, and the agent can answer directly or trigger a Slack workflow to initiate a formal request with the HR team.
  • Build production-ready agents using the Agent Development Lifecycle: Define and implement a strategy that builds on your success and ensures you make the most out of working with AI help. This includes creating robust testing strategies in the Agentforce Testing Center, building monitoring dashboards to track agent performance and ROI, and managing the end-to-end deployment lifecycle for all agents.
  • Automate the deployment of your agents: Use developer tools like Agentforce DX to manage the source code of a complex agent in a version control system. You can then establish a continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline to automate the testing and promotion of agent updates from sandboxes to production, ensuring enterprise-grade stability and scalability.

Whether you’re taking your first steps with AI as a Champion, driving change as an Innovator, or developing complex agent strategies as a Legend, becoming an Agentblazer gives you the practical skills and real-world know-how to succeed in an AI-powered world. And if you’d like to refresh your knowledge of any of the concepts covered along the journey, you can always review the Agentblazer Champion, Innovator, or Legend learning paths.
