Take charge of your own destiny, whether it's by learning new skills or connecting with others.
Do you remember when you first heard about Salesforce? How did you get started with Salesforce?
I was familiar with the blue cloud, but it wasn't until my company decided to implement Salesforce in 2017 that I really took an active interest and started skilling up on Trailhead.
How does Trailhead help you learn and how has it helped you succeed?
Whenever I'm stuck or trying to figure out something new, Trailhead is always my first stop to make sure I'm up-to-date on the latest relevant badges and modules. If you find yourself in the same boat, be sure to check out Trailhead—you'll likely find what you need there! The day I learned about “junction objects” was a very good day. It completely changed the way we use Salesforce!
What does being a Trailblazer mean to you?
Taking charge of your own destiny, whether it's by learning new skills or connecting with others.
How will Trailhead be a part of your future (and what advice do you have for future Trailblazers)?
In this day and age, continuous learning is key. Trailhead makes it easy, with regular releases covering the latest and greatest skills and insights. You get out what you put in. There are no limits to how far you can go and how much you can learn.
What impact has the Trailblazer Community had on your Salesforce experience?
A completely profound impact... I've actually met some of my best friends through the Trailblazer Community! It's great having such an awesome and supportive community of folks from around the world. I am very proud to say that I am the leader of the Toronto Women in Technology Community Group! We strive to help others with various non-technical content, and we also join forces with the other Toronto Community Groups for some super fun events!
