I am currently trying to setup a sharing rule that will allow a role named training coordinator to have read access of a custom picklist I created in an object called "project". I'm able to follow the directions up until when I have to create a sharing rule. The probem I am facing is that I don't see the priority custom picklist I created in the dropdown menu.

I tried deleting the Priority picklist field and creating it again, verified there are no field restrictions in the object settings.

 Any help greatly appreciated!

Can't find the Priority custom picklist as an option when doing the Data Security challenge

    Hi @Chris Diamantakis ,

I encountered this problem myself when completing the 'Create a sharing rule for the Project object' challenge. After going back and checking what I had done for each step, I realised that when creating the 'Priority' field for the Project object I accidentally selected 'Picklist (multi-select)' for the data type, instead of 'Picklist'. I changed the data type for the Priority picklist to 'Picklist', went back to creating the sharing rule, and 'Priority' was then showing in the dropdown options when setting the criteria for the sharing rule.
