The documentation states: maximum of 12 A/B test segments and Maximum of five test segments within a test, but I cannot find anything about maximum number of tests.

I'm also aware that if a participant falls into the first test they qualify for then they won't fall into the second they also qualify for. So it's more around quantity running at the same time.

Hi @Adam Lane, 12 is also the maximum number of active A/B Tests as long as the total segments for all active A/B tests doesn't exceed 12 (https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_ab_test_segments.htm&type=5). However, depending on the experience and trigger of the A/B tests and site traffic, I would recommend to perform only a few tests in parallel because a shopper can participate only in one test at a time and experiences can overlap and hence tests influence each other.

Hi support, once an order is created using a basket id, basket id is no longer persisted in the order object; so how do I know which basket the order came from?

@Huishan Guo I don't think there's an out-of-the-box API or built-in functionality to fetch this detail. You would need to implement a custom attribute in the basket and order objects, and capture the basket ID during relevant hooks or update basket scapi end point. This data will then be available in the order object once the order is placed.

I have been tasked with taking ownership of sorting rules for my team and was wondering if people had any advice on how to come up with new sorting rules to test. We have tested the obvious ones (newness, best sellers etc) but we are now keen to utilise sorting rules further but unsure on what to test next.     This is also my first time posting on Trailblazer so excuse me if this isn't the right place to ask these questions.     Thanks

    Hi @abigail High

, there isn't a one-size fits all answer as this would depend on category type, brand guidelines, goals, etc.  However, there are a variety of metrics that could be used:

    - Sku Coverage (great for sale categories)

    - Days (Revenue, 1 day, 7, days, 30, etc)

    - Predictive Sort (some development may be required)

    - Ratings & Reviews if available

    - Grouping by an attribute such as product type, brand, gender, etc.

    - Keyword Sorting Rules for Search

    You can find some

    valuable information here as well.

The guidance is not too clear on this one. Trying to understand if the Search Suggestion Dictionary, only works when the Search Autocorrections is enabled. https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_search_suggestions.htm&type=5

I've entered a few terms with what I think would work, ie 'ma, macbooks' hoping to get a suggestion of Macbooks, but nothing has changed.

Could this also be something to do with the enhanced or simple search feature?

Any help would be appreciated

Hi @Adam Lane, yes that needs to be enabled (confirm it's in both Staging & Production).   Additionally, you should go to  Search > Search Indexes > Language Options to determine the value that is set for the suggested words to appear.  Default and recommended setting is 3.  I suggest testing a value of 2 to ensure clean results.

At the moment, when searching the term t-shirts, you are getting some t-shirts, shirts (and polos/tops etc - we believe this is something to do with the parent / child category). However we just want t-shirts to return as this is a huge product for our company. We have tried everything from hypernyms, compound words, compound phrases, synonyms and nothing seems to work. Is there any other suggestions how we can manipulate the search at all?

@Jade Hancock - It sounds as if Category Name Exclusions could help you here.  Keep in mind if your category name contains a comma to use a backslash prior to the comma when creating the Category Name Exclusion.  There is an example in the reference link I provided.  It's also important to ensure that any of the Search Dictionary entries you are creating are made in the proper locale to take effect.

Hello! I’m completely new to Salesforce Commerce Cloud and not sure how to start learning it. I found some Trailhead modules, but since there’s no sandbox for hands-on practice, I’m struggling to apply what I’m learning. How do people typically learn Commerce Cloud if they have no prior experience with it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, have any of you worked with promotion search definitions?

According to what we have contracted it does not allow to use Bucketed Values.

Has anyone implemented it?

    Hey @Tatiana Grados

You're correct there is no Bucketing available on Promotion Refinements, rather it will show the names of the promotions that have been configured as refinable (and that apply to the product listing/search result). What is your use case for wanting buckets? Were you hoping to group multiple promotions into a single refinement or something else?

    Thanks,

    Erika
